John Maslen is exceptionally gifted as a past life therapist. I have been interested in this field for quite some time and have been taken into guided meditations and had past life energy cleared before by other therapists. But a session with John gave me access to a level of depth and vision I have never experienced before or since. Instead of random thoughts or fleeting visions, I felt as though I was watching a play. I could see the most extraordinary detail of the setting, the other characters and the drama itself. This particular past life was a grisly one (often the ones that need to be cleared are) but at no point did I feel panicky, over emotional or out of my depth. I went to see John Maslen in November 2006 on the recommendation of a common friend who shares with us an interest in past life therapy.
I have, since then, qualified as hypnotherapist with a specialist interest in past life work. In the course of my work I have both conducted past life regressions and been through regressions myself. Many of the session I have been through myself have been conducted by very well known practitioners in the field.
It is therefore hugely to John Maslen’s credit that the session he guided me through stands out as one of the best conducted sessions I have experienced. 
I mean this quite unsentimentally. Those who are familiar with this work will be aware of the difficulties clients sometimes experience when entering what we call the "inter-life". It takes a great deal of faith in the therapist for a client to let himself go sufficiently to enter this other-worldly realm. Under John I entered the “inter-life” for the first time - and the sheer wonder of that experience will, I am sure, be with me always. That I did enter this state is, I believe, thanks entirely to the calm air of assurance John brings to his work, the sense of being utterly trustworthy, the air of someone who knows his area perfectly, yet wears his knowledge lightly. Finally these are the qualities one needs in a good therapist - trustworthiness, competence, the ability to be "present" as one human being for another. John has each of these qualities in very large measure.

In 2006, I was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently after surgery had chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which left me physically and mentally drained. Since attending sessions with John Maslen I feel a great burden has been lifted. For me personally, the session is a time to thoroughly relax and focus my mind, after the first session I could feel a marked improvement in both my physical and mental well being. As the sessions progressed I found it easier to fall straight into the relaxed state which enables healing to take place, after each session I feel totally regenerated.

I have recently completed eight healing sessions with John Maslen. The sessions were carried out in his home in a highly professional manner starting with a review of any positive developments with my condition before going ahead with the next session. The room was comfortable and relaxing and either a reclining chair or portable couch was used with subdued lighting if I wanted it. There was always a variety of relaxing and calming music available which I found helped me enormously in developing a relaxed state to the right level to allow healing to take place.
John's voice and technique allowed me to relax totally and I found that the additions he made each week were of real value, I never felt rushed in any way and was always amazed how quickly the time passed by.
I have a condition known as CIDP where my immune system is pre-occupied with attacking my own nervous system. This leaves me open to many viruses that my body would usually fight off and I actually went along to see John with pneumonia and a partially collapsed lung and feeling pretty awful. I had been referred to Wycombe Hospital Chest clinic by my doctor and was having tests such as CT scan and Pulmonary Function Tests having had three lots of antibiotics without success. About four sessions ago with John he focused on my chest area and since that time I have rapidly improved. In fact my appointment with the chest clinic consultant on Monday 30 July 2007 showed that the pneumonia had gone but also my lung had re-inflated and the only treatment I had been getting was the healing sessions with John.
