Relaxation
The first skill is the ability to relax. By learning how to go into a deeply relaxed state is the first step in the process of accessing your own unconscious mind. The more you relax physically the more you relax mentally and this automatically starts to give you access to your right brain, your unconscious. There are many proven relaxation processes that will help you relax and in one-to-one therapy you will spend some time allowing this experience to happen in the way that is best for you. Once you acquire this skill you will find that you can go quite rapidly into a deeply relaxed state any time you wish.
